Artist Statement

Being a photographer, the enormous amount of pictures on Internet opened up to me as a new world.
Now, being freed from a camera , I search on the World Wide Web for pictures that I find interesting.
With those pictures I started my ‘ Non Photography Collection”.
It’s a growing collection of pictures that in some ways challenge the frames of photography.
Apart from the fact that I determine the subject of the photograph,the pictures show objective and pure photography,not disturbed by the photographic considerations of the maker.
I recycle the pictures as readymades and direct them precisely into a new artwork.
The ‘Non Photography Collection” is part of my research into the expanding boundaries of photography and the changing reception of the photographic truth.
